LeapFrog helps you track your listening progress over time. We try to collect as little as possible, and we never sell your data or show ads. This page explains what we store and why.

What we collect

When you sign in, we store your email address so we can send you a sign-in link and keep your library tied to you. There is no password.

As you use LeapFrog, we store the things you create: the videos and other items you save, your comprehension ratings over time, any notes or snapshots you write, and any screenshots you upload. We also keep the few optional details you enter in setup, like the language you’re learning, so we can tailor the app to you.

How we use it

Your information is used to run the app: to show you your library and your progress, to remind you to revisit a video, and to keep your data available across your devices. That’s it. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it lives

Your account and everything you save are stored in our database (Supabase) on secure servers, and the app is hosted on Vercel. Access is locked to your account, so other users cannot see your library, ratings, notes, snapshots, or screenshots.

A few trusted services help us run LeapFrog: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Resend (delivering your sign-in links), Loops (occasional product emails, like a reminder to revisit a video), and Sentry (error monitoring so we can fix crashes). Each one handles only what it needs to do its part, and never for advertising.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in. We also count visits with cookieless, aggregate analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) to understand whether LeapFrog is helping people feel their progress. It uses no cookies and builds no profile of you, and we never use advertising cookies or sell your data.

Deleting your data

You can erase everything you’ve saved at any time from Settings, under “Start over.” You can also delete your account and sign-in entirely from Settings, under “Delete my account.” If you’d rather we handle it, email us and we’ll take care of it.
